The forthcoming marriage of Albert Jirak and Tillie Novonty{sic}, also James Dunt and Elizabeth Huber was announced at the Holy Trinity church on Sunday.

Novotny-Jirak
Tuesday, Oct. 26th, 1920, at ten o’clock, at St. Mary’s church, Little Turkey, Iowa, occurred the marriage of Miss Tillie Novotny, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Novotny, to Albert G Jirak, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Jirak. Rev. Opava performed the ceremony.
The bride was charmingly gowned in silver cloth and silk tulle trimmed with fish scale beads, and carried a bouquet of white roses.
The groom wore a suit of blue serge with accesories{sic} to match. The bridal couple were attended by Helen Vsetecka, a cousin of the bride, and Jim Holub, a friend of the groom, little Miss Gladys Novotny, a sister of the bride, being the flower girl. Master Bennie Busta, cousin of the groom, was the ring bearer, carrying the rings on a calla lily. The maid of honor and the flower girls were dressed in pink satin trimmed with silver embroidered net and beaded braid.
After the ceremony, a sumptuous wedding breakfast was served to the bridal party, and their guests consisted of 60 families—the immediate relatives, friends and neighbors. The dining room was decorated in rose and white.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Jirak and family of Waterloo and Louis L. Novotny of Lidgerwood, N. D., were the only out-of-town guests at the wedding. The afternoon and evening was spent in card playing and dancing in a bowery, music furnished by P. B. B. orchestra.
This worthy young couple is well and favorably known here and have a host of friends who wish them every happiness in their new life They will make their home on the groom’s farm in Jackson twp. Where the best wishes of their many friends will follow them.
