Dawlen – Timmerman Marriage 1913

William Dawlen, of LaCygne, Kans., and Melinda Timmerman, of Saratoga, were united in marriage in the Ger¬man Lutheran church at Davis Corners, Wednesday, Nov. 12, ’13, at 4 o'clock. Rev. Mathies performed the ceremony. The bride is a graduate of the Cobbs Hospital, of St Paul, and has had seven years of training. She was attired in white crepe de chine over white silk and wore a bridal veil and carried white chrysantheums. Mabel Hall, of Lime Springs, was bridesmaid. The groom is manager of a telephone exchange at LaCygne, Kansas, and was attended by Henry Timmerman, brother of the bride. Three auto loads went to the church. The ring ceremony was used and a three course dinner was served after the ceremony. Out-of-town guests were Miss Gille, of St. Paul, and Hattie Jones, of Lime Springs. They left Saturday night for LaCygne, Kansas, where they will reside.
