PANORA AUTO DEALER DIED AT HIS HOME SUNDAY
John Burchfield, age 41, well known through out this section of Ioaw as a Chevrolet dealer, died at his home in Panora Sunday evening from heart trouble. He had been suffering from a heart ailment for some time and death did not come entirely unexpected.
John had been in business in Panora for many years and had gained a host of friends by his honest dealings and friendly deeds that he always extended those in need. He was a well known sportsman, being interested in all forms of athletics, hunting and fishing.
He leaves to mourn his death his wife and three daughters, many relatives and a host of friends. Interment was made Tuesday afternon [sic afternoon] in the Panora cemetery.

FUNERAL HELD AT PANORA FOR JOHN BURCHFIELD, 42
John Burchfield of Panora, one of the owners of the Burchfield and Abbott garage in Guthrie Center, and owner of the Burchfield Auto Co. at Panora, died at his home in Panora about five o'clock Sunday evening. The funeral service was held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Christian church in Panora.
Mr. Burchfield is survived by his wife and three daughters: Mrs. Lloyd Lee of Audubon, formerly of Guthrie Center, and Wilma Jean and Thelma at home.
He was 42 years old, had been in poor health for several months, and bedfast for the past three weeks. His death resulted from heart trouble.
