Mr. & Mrs. E.J. Stonebraker 67th Anniversary

Hampton, Nov. 14 - Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Stonebraker will receive the congratulations of this community Nov. 19, their sixty-seventh wedding day.

They were married Nov. 19, 1867, in Oregon, Ill. In those days when Mr. Stonebraker was carrying her books and meeting her at church,

Mrs. Stonebraker was Emma Marsh. He was called "Stoney" and the cognomen has clung to him through the years.

Mr. and Mrs. Stonebraker have made their home in Hampton for 64 years. He is one of the few "boys in blue" here and has always been very active in G.A.R. At Keokuk, in June, 1926, he was chosen commander of the Iowa department of the G.A.R.

The children are Mrs. Nellie Typer, Lowell, William, E.J., Jr., and Mrs. Gertrude Hinton, all of Hampton, and Mrs. Eppie Typer of Polo, Ill. They will celebrate the day with their parents.
