Called to Mourn.
We hear with regret of the death of Edward R. Park, eldest son of Thos. D. Park, which occured at Maynard, on Saturday last. The family will be remembered as living in Decorah, several years ago, the father being telegra{p}h operator at the B., C. R. & N. depot, and subsequently in charge of the Castalia station on the same road. The deceased was a telegraph operator at Rock Creek, Wyoming, and was taken sick in February last, with mountain fever, which ended in quick consumption. He was born in Sterling, Ills., Aug. 28th, 1874.{?}

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Nov. 28, 1874 and died Aug. 24, 1895. He is buried in Long Grove Cemetery.
