Funeral services for Priscilla R. Rohling, 48, Lost Nation, were held Jan. 21, 1997 at the Toronto Community church in Toronto, with Chaplain Richard Roberts officiating. Pallbearers were Robert Rowson, Leo Croce, Terry Willey, John Rohling, Jeff Croce and Jason Croce. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Catholic cemetery in Lost Nation.
Mrs. Rohling died Jan. 17 at Genesis West Medical Center in Davenport, following a long illness.
The daughter of Edward and Bethel Starling Bartels, she was born April 8, 1948 in Toronto. She attended grade school in Toronto and graduated from Wheatland high school in 1966. She married Joe Rohling Sept. 12, 1975 in DeWitt and they made their home in Lost Nation.
In the late 1960's she began working at the Jackson county public hospital as a diet clerk. She was employed there for 19 1/2 years. In 1991 she began working as a self-employed child care provider.
She was a member of the Toronto Community church.
Mrs. Rohling is survived by her husband; a daughter, Bobbi Bartels-Poll and husband Kevin, Delmar; a son, Joey Rohling, at home; her mother in Toronto; 3 sisters, Patricia Rowson and husband Robert; and Judy Croce and husband Leo, all of Toronto; and Patrice Willey and husband Terry, Lost Nation; 2 brothers, Jerry Bartels and wife Candy; and Jan Bartels and wife Deb, all of Toronto; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
