Funeral services for Viola M. Siemsen, 90, Wheatland, were held Nov. 7, 1996 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland, with the Rev. Rod Slessor officiating. Sandra Hormann was the organist and Kathy Patterson sang. Pallbearers were Albert Bouchaute, Hugo Schluter, Richard Siemsen, Marvin Lerch, George Moeller and Donald Long. Burial was in the Maysville cemetery.

Mrs. Siemsen died Nov. 5 at Wheatland Manor Nursing Home.

The daughter of Adolph and Anna Holdorf Moeller, she was born Jan. 26, 1906 in Cedar county. She married Fred Siemsen Feb. 6, 1924. He died in 1965. She married Henry Siemsen March 17, 1973. He died in 1988.

Mrs. Siemsen was a former cook at the Wheatland Manor Nursing Home.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland and the Dixon Pythian Sisters.

Mrs. Siemsen is survived by a daughter, Frieda (Mrs. Leonard) Conrad, Clarence; a granddaughter; 2 great-grandsons; a sister, Malonie Lemburg, Wheatland; and 5 step-children, Richard Siemsen, Dixon; Randall Siemsen, Long Grove; Donna Jensen, Lowden; Marilyn McCammant, Eldridge; and Karen Lumsden, Worthington. She was preceded in death by both husbands; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
