Funeral services for Glenn A. Franck, 66, Wheatland, were held Nov. 2, 1996 at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland, with the Rev. Vern Clausing officiating. Pallbearers were Dick Rowold, Charles Pelley, Randy Rich, Donald Kennedy, Kent Bachus and Owen Boedeker. Burial was in the Pine Hill cemetery.

Mr. Franck died Oct 29 at his home, following a lengthy illness.

The son of Albert and Leola Schrader Franck, he was born March 15, 1930 in Welton. He married Burnita Starr Nov. 10, 1951 in Maquoketa. She died in 1991.

Mr. Franck worked at Caterpillar Tractor, retiring in 1988.

He is survived by a son, Glenn Jr., Muscatine; 2 daughters, Linda Franck, Wheatland; and Debra (Mrs. Michael) Jarecki, Platte Center, Neb.; 2 granddaughters, a grandson, a brother, Charles, Delmar; and a sister, Alberta Dierks, DeWitt. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; 2 sisters and a brother.
