Funeral services for Crayton "Bud" Fish, 64, Wheatland, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, May 15, 1996 at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland, with the Rev. Harold Koenig officiating. Pallbearers are Ruben Gonzalez, Eugene Clark, Ernest Hilbert, Eric Gasper, David Scheper and Jim Rorick. Burial will be in the Big Rock cemetery.

Mr. Fish died May 12 at Genesis Medical Center East Campus, following a long illness.

The son of Peter and Emma Huffman Fish, he was born Aug. 14, 1931 in Harpers Ferry. He married Merle Sawvell June 1, 1951 in Waukon.

Mr. Fish worked at Caterpillar in Mt. Joy for 35 years, retiring Oct. 1, 1986. He was a supervisor in the grinding department.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and woodworking.

Mr. Fish is survived by his wife; a son, Randy and his wife Debra, LeClaire; 6 daughters, Marsha (Mrs. Jim) Rorick, Big Rock; Barbara (Mrs. Eugene) Clark, Monmouth; Debra Ball, in the U.S. Navy in Naples, Italy; Tammy (Mrs. David) Scheper, McCausland; Patty (Mrs. Eric) Gasper, Calamus; and Stacy (Mrs. Ruben) Gonzalez, Lowden; a sister, Arlene Jones, Harpers Ferry; a brother, Earl, Harpers Ferry; and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
