Funeral services for Harvey Borchers, 80, Wheatland, were held May 29 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland. Burial was in the Pine Hill cemetery.

Mr. Borchers died May 25 at the Wheatland Manor Nursing Home.

He married Eltha Smith in 1939 in Davenport. He was a retired farmer and trucker. He was also a member of Davenport Moose Lodge No. 28.

Mr. Borchers is survived by his wife, a son, Keylon, Big Rock; 3 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Donald (Blanche) Fox, Las Vegas, NV and Ann Rorick, Davenport and brothers, Rollin, Bennett, Aaron, Moline; Wayne, Davenport and Reid, Wheatland.
