John Keeffe / O'Keefe

KEEFFE, DORAN, OKEEFE

Hello! I am trying to find anything about John Keeffe. He was the father of my 3x great grandmother Catherine O'keeffe Doran, who is buried in the Elkport Cemetery on the hill, along with many other family members. He shows up in the 1856 Iowa Census at 66 but then is not present in the 1860 census, so the assumption is he passed (his wife had already passed before arriving in Iowa). I can find no record, gravestone or family history of his death dates or where he might be buried. Hoping to find something. Thank you!
