I've posted Alex's obituary for you from a Dubuque newspaper. It's possible that the McGregor paper also printed an obit, but I don't have access to the date range it would have appeared in.While looking for the obit, I found a few other items in the newspapers and copied them for you. Note that his surname is spelled PRYSLUPSKI in all of them, but I'm certain that they are all the same as the Alex Prysulpski you are researching.

Winner in Essay Contest - Alex Pryslupski, junior student in McGregor high school, was the author of the first place essay in an Americanism essay contest sponsored here by the American Legion auxiliary. Several essays were entered in the contest, the topic of which was "Pioneer Pattern of the Nation of Tomorrow." On a point-scoring basis, the winning essay merited 92 points.

Bloody Run, emptying into the Mississippi river at Marquette, Ia., after a drop of about 400 feet in 12 miles in the neighboring hills, is nota big stream but there are big trout in its spring-fed swift water. This was proved again last Monday. Fishing early in the day with a fly rod and gob of worms about one mile upstream from Marquette, Alex Pryslupski of McGregor, Ia., caught a German brown weighing 4 1/2 pounds.
