~North Iowa Times, Wednesday, September 16, 1868; pg 2
-- --
Notes: She and her husband may be buried in one of the Garnavillo cemeteries, although neither appear on published burial lists.Additional information:
-- John's obit does not give burial place, obit indicates he was from Clayton at time of death (1867), so it is also possible that they are buried at Clayton.
--Both John & Susan are listed as members in the late 1860's of the Methodist Church of the Garnavillo, National & Clayton congregations (Garnavillo, Gem of the Prairie, 1988, Roggman; pg 187)
-- The Clayton County Journal, Nov. 3, 1869 published an Original Notice, naming Samuel Bull, Joseph Bull, Wm Bull, Ann Dripps & John Purvis, heirs of John F. Bull and Susan Bull, deceased (see full notice in the online archives of the Journal).
-- Food for thought: Ann Dripps was d/o Francis & Elizabeth Bull per her 1901 obituary. Ann's father MAY have been John F. Bull's uncle.
