Hello Sharyl,
Thank you for posting this - please note that his first wife's name was Mollie Schmidt and not Millie Schmidt. They had a daughter named Mildred (Millie) Becker who died as a young woman and is buried with them in Elkader's Eastside Cemetery.
(Mollie was her nickname; her birth name was Amalia. She was a daughter of Wolfgang and Paulina (Thoma) Schmidt.)
