A PIONEER WOMAN HAS PASSED AWAY

Mrs. Elizabeth McDonald, another of the good old pioneer women of Cherokee county, passed away at the old home northwest of Cherokee at 3:45 Sunday morning, after an illness of two weeks.

Funeral services will be held at the house at 2 o’clock on Tuesday.

The deceased was born July 28, 1836. She has been a resident of this county since 1880. Her husband passed away about ten years ago.
