Funeral services for Irma S. Wildasin, 105, Wilton, were held March 13, 1997 at the First Presbyterian church in Wilton, with the Rev. Bruce Giese officiating. Mrs. Diana Gradert was the organist and Henry Bentley sang. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery, Wilton.

Irma Wildasin died March 9 at the Wilton Care Center.

The daughter of Henry and Susan Stover Wildasin, she was born July 30, 1891 in Wilton. She graduated from Wilton high school in 1910 and from Cornell College in Mt. Vernon in 1914. In August 1996 she was honored as the oldest living alumnus and inducted into the President's Club at Cornell College.

She taught Latin, German and English, as well as other subjects at Wilton high school, in Britt and in Streater, Ill.

Irma Wildasin was a lifelong member of the Wilton Presbyterian church, where she played the piano and taught Sunday school. She was a 50 year member of the Pollyanna's at the church. She was also a member of the Wilton Women's Club for 66 years.

She is survived by a niece, Harriett L. Schomberg, Pasadena, Calif.; and a nephew, Dr. Robert P. Mason, Phoenix, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Ida Bloom and Hattie Mason.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian church in Wilton.
