AGNES LOUISE GROVER

Agnes Louis Grover, 60, longtime Atlantic resident, died July 5 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Anita.

Funeral services were held July 7 at the First Lutheran Church south of Wiota with retired minister R. G. Dohrmann of Atlantic officiating. Burial was in the First Lutheran Cemetery.

Anges Louise Grover, daughter of Albert and Marjorie VanDyke Nichols, was born Apr. 17, 1928 at Richland and attended Richland schools until moving to Atlantic. She graduated from Atlantic High School in 1946.

She married Cliff Grover on Oct. 19, 1946, at the Methodist Church in Atlantic. She was employed for 36 years as a nurses aide with Dennis Nursing Home and the Berry Nursing Home, she retired in 1981.

She was a member of the First Lutheran Church south of Wiota.

She is survived by her husband, Cliff; three sons, Dan Grover of Atlantic, Randy Grover of Des Moines and Steve Grover of Lewis; a daughter, Brenda Euken of Wiota; twelve grandchildren, Elisa, Dorothy, Tracy and Casey Grover, Donnie, Cliff and Tina Grover, Jamie, Mindy and Brent Euken, Crystal and Autumn Grover; three brothers, Albert Nichols of Malcolm, Jack Castor of Runnells, Quentin Nichols of Oklahoma City, OK; and a sister, Marie Winchell of Grinnell.

Preceding her in death by her parents and a brother, Dough Nichols.
