Obituary
Gail Houston Ericson, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. G. Ericson, was born in Dayton, Iowa, February 8, 1885, and died at Pomeroy, Iowa, November 7, 1932, at the age of 47 years, 8 months and 29 days. His early life was spent near Dayton, Iowa where he grew to manhood. Later he lived in Thomas, Oklahoma, where he met and married Miss Cora Dunham. To them were born two children, Darwin of Pomeroy, and George of San Francisco, California. He, with his parents, operated a farm near Estherville before he move to Pomeroy seven years ago to enter the Life Insurance business here. Besides his sons, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. G. G. Ericson of Pomeroy, one sister, Mrs. B. L. Beebe of Lehigh, Iowa, two brothers, W. L. Ericson of Rockwell City, Iowa and H. R. Ericson of Manson, Iowa and one daughter-in-law, Mrs. G. G. Ericson, and grandson, George Jr., both of San Francisco. Besides these there are other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters. He was a loving father and son, always considerate of others before himself. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, having joined it in early life.
