DIED - In Fairview Township, Allamakee County, Iowa, on the 21st of April, of Congestion of the Bowels, D. Frank Spaulding, aged 36 years.

The deceased was a native of New Hampshire, and one among the first settlers of this part of the County. His strict integrity, kind and courteous demeanor and examply life in every respect, made friends of all who knew him.

The community deeply feel his loss, and extend heartful sympathy to his bereaved family.
