Last week, in announcing the death of Julius Nelson's mother-in-law, the mischievous types made us give her name as Mrs. Sarah Clark, instead of Whaley.
The funeral took place last Wednesday, the remains being followed to the grave by a concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends.
The deceased, Mrs. Sarah Whaley, came to Allamakee county from [New] York State, in 1850, and settled in Makee township, where she resided until 1861, removing thence to Wabashaw county, Minn., where she lived until last April, when she returned to this county and has since made her home with her son-in-law, Mr. Nelson, in this city.
