The rural schools of Allamakee county will graduate 124 pupils at commencement exercises to be held June 3. The valedictorian is Miss Lorraine Beardmore of Union City township and the salutatorian is Dorothy Haehlen of Linton township.
Honor roll graduates in the eighth grade are Lorraine Beardmore, Dorothy Haehlen, Lois Bulman, Margaret Gelo, Charles Cook, Ruth Reed, Marian Gelo, Malcolm Shefelbine, Mabel McCabe, Dorothy Barr, Ruth Goeke, Anna Zoll, Albert Unterberger, Valeria Canoe, Gerald Cahalan, Betty Byrnes, Marjorie Leet.
