Important!!
Clearly an error was made in one of these books, the first page of each of the two books are dated 8 years apart (1915/16 and 1923/24), but contain exactly the same list of students. All entries for both books were handwritten with the exception of the identical pages.

Not wanting to assume I know which dates are correct, I've transcribed both below, as they appear in the school records. Click the thumbnails to enlarge the image.

1940

Francis Molitor, teacher of Climax school near Harpers Ferry has seven pupils, all of whom are boys.

This is Francis' first year as teacher and this is the second year the school has had all boy pupils.
