Mary Judith Tinius, pharmacist's mate, second class, of Fort Des Moines, has applied for overseas duty following enactment of legislation permitting WAVES to serve outside the United States. She now is stationed in the dispensary record office at the naval repair base, Algiers, La.

Mary Tinius Is Married to G.C. Lane, jr

Miss Mary Judith Tinius, pharmacist's mate, second class, WAVES, stationed at the naval air station at San Diego, Cal., and Lt George Curran Lane U.S.M.C., stationed at New Bern, N.C., were married Mar. 14 at First Baptist church in New Bern. The Rev. Thomas W. Fryer officiated.

Mrs. Lane, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Judson H. Tinius of Starlight, Nacooche Valley, Ga., formerly attended Roosevelt High school. Lieutenant Lane is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Curran Lane of Rosenberg, Tex.
