Beverly Rout Roberts, yeoman third class, in the SPARs, has concluded a leave with her mother, Mrs W.E. Young, 3839 Sixth ave., and has returned to Philadelphia, Penn.

You're elected, SPAR Beverly Roberts, Des Moines, tells this gobbler. His 24 pounds qualify him for "admission" to the Thanksgiving dinner with the SPARS in Philadelphia, Penn., will enjoy come Thursday. SPAR Roberts made a trip to turkey farm to select the lucky (?) birds. Thanksgiving day is also the SPARS second anniversary. -- From Coast Guard
