Iowa Army Nurse Weds in Morocco

Washington, D.C. -- The army reported Saturday that the first marriage within the armed forces in Morocco was that of Second Lt. Elizabeth Jane Reynolds, army nurse of Bedford, Ia., and Second Lt. Alonzo E. Weaver, Jacksonville, Fla.

Engaged before the war, they had called off the wedding for the duration.

The coincidence of army orders sent them both to Morocco, and they met by chance in Casablanca on Christmas Day.
