Davenport Girl Enlists in WAVES
Miss Barbara Glennis Petersen of 1406 West Seventh street, Davenport, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Viggo Petersen of West Branch, Ia., has enlisted in the WAVES and will leave Feb. 24 for training at Hunter college in New York.
Miss Petersen is a graduate of the Springdale, Ia, high school and is employed at the Davenport Bank & Trust Co. Her brother, Staff Sgt. Norman V. Petersen, is stationed at Camp Rucker, Ala.
