Sarah Palatnick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hirsch Palatnick, 1071 Second ave., recently was promoted to chief yeoman at Norfolk, Va., where she is supervisor of the registered mail room. During the war, she handled confidential mail, ship lists and navy numbers.
