Virginia Mores
 

 

 

Lois Cole and Virginia Mores, former stars of the Seymour High school girl's basketball teams are members of the WAVES and taking their preliminary training at Hunter college, New York City.

Cole held down a forward position for five years while Mores was an outstanding guard for three seasons and was named on the second all-state team her senior year.

Iowa WAVES Fill Vital Navy Jobs at Ottumwa

Before she learned to solder a bending wire on a wing panel, Virginia Mores, Seymour, played on 1942 second All-State basketball team.
