Two Des Moines women have been appointed second lieutenants in the army nurse corps and will report for duty at Camp Carson, Colo. about Feb. 15. They are Jean Marie Mitchell, 913 Thirty eighth st. and Verda Nary Anderson, 616 Seventh st., Des Moines.
