Ten young women left yesterday for Hunter college, the Bronx, N.Y., to start their basic training in the WAVES. They enlisted during the special drive in the quad-cities last month.

Anna H. Lueders, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Lueders, 1451 East High street, was enrolled recently at the Naval Training school for storekeepers at the Indiana university, Bloomington, Ind., and is now preparing to replace a shore-stationed male storekeeper. Advancement to the petty officer rating of storekeeper third class awaits her upon graduation.
