Margaret R. Longworth, pharmacist's mate, third class, in the WAVES, who for the last six months has been stationed at the naval hospital, Shoemaker, Cal, recently visited her mother, Mrs. James F. Rutherford, 323 Arthur ave. Her husband, Edward H. Longworth, electrician's mate, third class, is with a submarine.

Margaret R. Longworth, pharmacist's mate, third class in the WAVES, has concluded a 21-day leave with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Rutherford, 323 Arthur ave. She also visited her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Rutherford, and daughter, Mary Ann in Minneapolis, Minn, and Mr. and Mrs. Russell W. Rutherford, 513 Arthur ave. She left Thursday night for San Francisco, Cal where she is attached to the district medical office.

NAVAL RESERVE 'SHOTS'

Seaman recruits in the organized naval reserve Monday were getting vaccinations shots as a two-week indoctrination school opened at the naval reserve training center in the KRNT Radio theater building Pharmacist's mate, second class, V.G. Manners (left) and two WAVES, Pharmacist's Mates, second class, Margaret Longworth and Bernice Beer, (right) take charge on the armory sick bay. Recruits are Bob Bole, 1704 Gillette ave., and M.L. Kerr (right), 1209 Carpenter ave.
