Dorothy Kitterman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Kitterman, of Kingsley, has been accepted by the American Red Cross, to serve as a staff assistant in recreation with the armed forces overseas.  She will report in Washington D.C. on June 5.

KINGSLEY GIRL WITH RED CROSS SERVING FORCES IN ENGLAND

Dorothy A. Kitterman, daughter of E. S. Kitterman, Kingsley, Iowa, has arrived in England to serve the armed forces as an American Red Cross staff assistant.  Before her Red Cross appointment, Miss Kitterman taught in the Fremont, Neb., public schools.  She is a graduate of Kingsley public high school, Kingsley; Morningside college, Sioux City, A.B. 1936; and Nebraska State Teachers College, Wayne, Neb.; and is a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Fremont, Neb.
