Osage -- Cpl. Grace Kathan of the Marines is to be here next week to spend a leave with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kathan. She is stationed at Cherry Point, N.C. En route home she will stop at Washington, D.C. to see her brother, Lt. Marshall Kathan, who is in the army personnel department. Upon her return to Cherry Point, she will enter officers training school. She has been a 'link' operator that has to do with blind flying, for the last several months.

Osage -- Lt. Grace Kathan of the marines, has reported at Eagle Mountain lake, in Texas, where she has been assigned as officer in charge of instruction of night flying squadrons. Lieutenant Kathan, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kathan, had been stationed at Cherry Point, N.C.

TO TEXAS POSITION

Osage, Ia. -- Grace Kathan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kathan, left Wednesday for Dallas, Tex., where she has a position at the airport, government owned. Grace has been at home for three weeks following her discharge as lieutenant in the women's marine corps as link trainer. She was an instructor, based as Atlanta, Ga., Cherry Point, N.C.; and Eagle Mountain Lake, Tex. She was in service for two and a half years.
