Frances Herrald, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. K. Herrald, of Webster City, has been transferred to Miami, Fla., where she will be employed in the F.B.I. office. She formerly worked with the TVA in Tennessee.

GETS PROMOTION

Sgt. Frances Herrald, daughter of Mrs. O. K. Herrald of this city, has been promoted to staff sergeant in the WACs, which means technician, third grade. She is stationed at Fort Meyers, Va.

Frances Marie Herrald was born May 25, 1919 to Ora K. and Elsa Bibler Herrald. She died Aug. 21, 1999 in NC.

Pvt. Herrald served in the Women’s Army Corp in World War II with the Military Intelligence Service.

She was married to Jay Hillman Supper. He served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
