Dorothy Marjorie Greenwood

 

Miss Dorothy Marjorie Greenwood, age 23, of Hob Nob Inn, Box 207, Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, was today (January 10, 1944) sworn into the Women’s Reserve, U. S. Naval Reserve, as an apprentice seaman in the enlisted quota of the WAVES. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Connie Greenwood, Akron, Iowa, Route 2. She attended Akron High school and Northern State Teachers college, of Aberdeen, S.D. She has been employed by E. I. DuPont DeNemours & Co., Inc., Pompton Lakes, N. J., as an inspector. She has a brother, Pvt. Warren Greenwood, at Syracuse University, Syracuse, N. Y. Miss Greenwood will soon be ordered to the U. S. Naval Training School, Bronx, N. Y. (Hunter College), for indoctrination in the WAVES.
