Sgt. Geraldine Gravett of Elgin Field, Fla., Misses Beth Gravett and Virginia Gravett of Elgin Field, have spent the past week at the J.C. Gravett home. Cadet Nurse Carol Gravett of Iowa City spent the week-end at home. They came at this time to see their brother Clifford, recently discharged from the army.

Obituary:

Geraldine E. Gravett, 80, of 3125 E. Seventh St, died of a heart ailment Saturday at home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home, with burial at Quincy Center near Corning.

Miss Gravett was born in Corning and had lived in Des Moines since 1973 She was retired from the personnel and finance department of the city of Des Moines and also was a senior master sergeant
in the Air Force, having served during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

Survivors include two brothers, Clifford Gravett of Hemet, Calif., and Joseph Gravett of Cove, Ore.; and five sisters, Wilma Disney of Des Moines, Beth Mulcahy of Cedar Rapids, Carol Proctor of Valparaiso, Ind., Virginia Harris of Deerfield, R.I. and Jean Currence of Greenville, S.C.
