Sgt. Genevieve C. Foley of Marcus is a member of a contingent of WAC veterans in the southwest Pacific now undergoing processing in the Philippines for return to the United States under the redeployment plan. She has a total of 45 points, four more than the critical score of 41 required for members of the WAC. A veteran of a year overseas, Sgt. Foley was assigned to the headquarters for Gen. George C. Kenney's far east air forces in the Philippines. Her mother, Mrs. Ella Foley, lives in Marcus.
