Mrs. Vera Fedderson

 

In Women's Army

Among the recent recruits in the WAC is Mrs. Vera Fedderson of Calamus, Ia., who will leave next Tuesday to receiver her basic training at Fort Des Moines. Mrs. Fedderson attended the Calamus high school and is employed at the Rock Island arsenal. Her husband, Harry Fedderson is with the medical corps of the army and has been overseas since last May.

WAC RECRUITS -- Two young women from Davenport, one from Bettendorf and one from Calamus, were recruited into the WAC by the Davenport army recruiting office. CALAMUS WAC ON VISIT

Calamus, Ia. -- Sergt. Vera Fedderson, Ft. Benning, Ga., with the WACs the past year, is spending a furlough with her parents here.
