Irma Nell Evans was born Apr. 8, 1920 to William J. and Margaret Evans. She died Sept. 26, 2004 and is buried in Saint Johns Cemetery, Clarion, IA.
Yeoman First Class Evans worked in Radio Central at the Dept. of the Navy in Washington, D.C. She returned to Clarion after her service and married Joe Tomke* who had served with the U.S. Army.
