PVT. DOLCH IN BASIC TRAINING

Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. -- Pvt. Marguerite Dolch, an artist and former teacher of art, is now taking her basic training at the Third WAC Training Center here. A native of Ames, Pvt. Dolch has been awarded two first prizes in student art exhibits, and holds two bachelor of fine arts degrees and one mast of arts degree.

Prior to her enlistment, the new Wac was employed as display assistant in an Urbana department store. She had previously been a teacher of art at Salem College, Winston-Salem, N.C., at Marysville College, Marysville, Tenn., and at the University of Iowa Experimental Schools.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Dolch, 598 Delaware Ave., Urbana. Two brothers, Lt Edward W. Dolch, Jr. of the Naval Air Corps and T/4 John P. Dolch, of the Army Signal Corps are also in service.
