DAVENPORTER IS CALLED TO DUTY WITH WOMEN CORP

Miss Viola Campbell, 405 West Fourth street, has been called to active duty with the women's Army corps and will report to Fort Des Moines, Wednesday morning. Before entering service and being sworn in May 2, she was assembler in a Davenport war production plant.

Mrs. Viola Campbell, of Davenport, formerly of Muscatine, was inducted into the Air-Wac service Wednesday at Davenport. Her address is Mrs. Viola Campbell, 2ns Co. Rec. S. P. G. Bn. Fort Des Moines, Ia., friends have been advised.

Serves as Nurse Aid -- WAC Viola Campbell formerly of Muscatine, is shown going about her duties as a nurses aide in a base hospital of the Ogden, Utah Air Service Command at Hill Field, Utah. She enlisted in the WACs May 17 last and completed her basic training at Des Moines, July, before being sent to Utah.

WAC Campbell formerly made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bloom, 911 East Seventh street.
