Ensign E. Berrum Here on Short Leave

Ensign Elizabeth Berrum, Nurses Corps USNR, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.P Berrum, 1415 Brady street, Davenport, is home on a ten-day leave with her parents.

She is stationed at Mare Island, Calif., where she will return Feb 12.

Before entering the service June 25, 1943, she was employed at various tri-city hospitals doing private and general nursing. She received her nurses training at St. Joseph hospital, St. Paul.

Promoted: Elizabeth L. Berrum, navy nurse, has been promoted from ensign to lieutenant junior grade at a U.S. naval air station in Hawaii. She is stationed at a dispensary there. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.P, Berrum, live at 1415 Brady street.
