Leona Elizabeth “Roddy” Radosta Antimuro

 

Salvatore Thomas “Torry” Antimuro was born Feb. 4, 1917 to Antonio and Josephine Antimuro. He died Dec. 14, 2013 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Webster City, IA.

Torry served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Force 131st Infantry Band as their director. Their main function was to sell bonds and entertain all over the state. It was during his service at Fort Benning, GA that he met WAAC, Roddy Radosta and they were married at Fort Benning.

Leona Elizabeth “Roddy” Radosta Antimuro was born Mar. 3, 1916 to Henry J. and Marie Hoffmeir Radosta. She died Nov. 5, 2006 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Webster City, IA. Sgt. Maj. Antimuro served at Battalion Headquarters at the Parachute School.
