Miss Lillian I. Knudsen

 

 

Miss Lillian I. Knudsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Knudsen, 1111 Richl street, will leave next week for Washington, D.C. for assignment as an assistant staff and recreational director for overseas duty with the American Red Cross. Enlisting for active overseas duty at a Red Cross service center, Miss Knudsen recently resigned her position as music supervisor in the Odebolt, Ia. High school. She was graduated from Iowa State Teachers college in 1939.

Miss Lillian I. Knudsen, assistant staff and recreational director ith the American Red Cross, has arrived safely overseas, according to a telegram received Saturday by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John C. Knudsen, 1111 Riehl Street.

Miss Knudsen enlisted for service March 25, after resigning her position as music supervisor in the Odebolt, Ia. High school.

She was graduated from Iowa State Teachers college in 1939.
