Robert Edson Young was born Feb. 14, 1926 to Roy Loyd and Ellen Elizabeth Jones Young. He died July 30, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.
Pvt. Young served with the U.S. Army 137th Infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Division in World War II and was KIA in France.
