Wittmaack Wounded In Action In Italy
Staff Sgt. Charles Wittmaack, Ida Grove, was slightly wounded in action somewhere in Italy Wednesday, November 10, according to offficial word received here by his relatives from the War Department. His wound, however, wasn’t serious as he wrote a letter on November 11, indicating he was having a couple days of rest. His wife and two children live here.
