S/Sgt. William B. Wilson

 

 

S. Sgt. William B. Wilson, whose wife lives at 1305 Douglas Street, has been awarded an oak leaf cluster to his air medal. He is the top turret gunner-engineer of a Flying Fortress and participated in the bombing offensive against the oil centers at Hamburg, Politz and Merseburg, as well as the troop support mission over Metz and the area around Aachen. A graduate of the Larned, Kansas, high school, Sgt. Wilson was employed by the North America Aviation company at Kansas City.
