La Vere Ralph Williams was born May 2, 1911 to Charles R. and Luverne Botsford Williams. He died Dec. 25, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.
Pvt. Williams served in World War II with the U.S. Army 262nd Infantry Regiment, 66th Infantry Division and was KIA in the English Channel and was awarded the Purple Heart.
