SERVICES FOR WORLD WAR II VET TO BE THURSDAY

Funeral services for Donald Williams, 23, World War II veteran, who died Monday at the veterans’ hospital in Des Moines, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist church in Williams. C. G. Rick will be in charge.

Williams’ death was reportedly caused by rheumatic fever and heart complications. He had been a patient at the veterans’ hospital for two weeks. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Williams of Williams.

While in the army, Williams served on New Guinea and Leyte. He was a member of the Williams post of the American Legion.
