Sgt. Joseph J. Wiedner

 

 

Joseph J. Wiedner was born about 1910 to William H. and Mary Wiedner. He died Dec. 25, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.

Sgt. Wiedner served in World War II with the U.S. Army 262nd Infantry Regiment, 66th Infantry Division and died in the service of his country and was awarded the Purple Heart.
